Applicability

These terms apply to every offer we make and every distance contract between us and you, the consumer. Different terms apply to business customers.

Our offer

All offers are without obligation. Obvious errors are not binding. Images and descriptions are shown as accurately as possible but may differ slightly from the actual product.

The contract

A contract is formed when you complete the order and pay. We confirm receipt of your order by email.

Prices

Prices are in GBP and include applicable taxes and UK import duties, unless stated otherwise. The price shown at the time of your order applies.

Payment

Payment is made using the methods offered in the shop; your order is processed once payment is received. Where a provider such as Klarna or PayPal offers a payment term (for example pay later or instalments), that arrangement is between you and the provider and does not change our delivery times or obligations.

Retention of title

Goods remain our property until they have been paid for in full.

Delivery

We aim to deliver as soon as possible; stated times are indicative. See our Shipping and Delivery Policy. Please check your delivery and report visible transport damage on the delivery note at handover.

Right to cancel

You may cancel within 14 days of receiving your product. See our Refund Policy for full details and exceptions.

Safe use and liability

Bio-ethanol fireplaces use a real flame and must be installed and used carefully, following the supplied instructions and safety guidance. We are not liable for damage arising from incorrect installation or use, ignoring safety instructions, unsuitable fuel, or insufficient room ventilation. Otherwise our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Complaints

Please report complaints within a reasonable time to sales@bioethanolfireplace.uk; we aim to respond promptly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. As a consumer you also keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.

Force majeure

We are not obliged to fulfil any obligation if prevented by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Changes

We may amend these terms; the version published at the time of your order applies to that order.
